How to create and share a transfer link to the new keeper

 

1. Click on Login

2. Enter your email and password then click on Log in

3. Use the search bar to find the microchip you need to transfer

4. Click on Transfer

5. Copy the link and send this to the new keeper via email or text.

• The new keeper doesn't want to click on the link in case it is a scam, what do I do?

You can advise the new keeper to go to smarttrace.org.uk and enter the microchip number in the search box. Then follow the prompts to process the transfer/registration of the microchip to their name.
